The Meg

I was going to the beach in Miami with my family,  and I went on my surfboard. I went so far from the beach I almost reached the Gulf of Mexico. Then I went back to the beach and when I reached the beach there was a shark tooth next to me. It was a big, giant tooth. Then I went for another surfboard ride. 

But when I came back I saw big gray fins rising from the sea. Then I looked closer and I found out it was a shark, but I wondered what type of shark was it. 

“Brentley!” called my mother. “Time to go!”

When I was about to leave the huge shark rose out of the great blue ocean. Everybody ran away from the beach. The next day at school I told my friend Harsha about the massive shark I saw yesterday. 

“I know what type of shark it is and I”ve seen it before, exclaimed Harsha. “It is a megalodon.” When I came back from school I looked in my picturepedia in page 100 where it says all the sharks names and I found the megalodon. It said that megalodons eat giant whales. On Saturday we went to the beach again and I went surfing again. Suddenly the megalodon rose up again and was chasing me. It tried to eat me but it ate half of my surfboard and it almost ate my leg.

The surfboard was so small I fell off my surfboard. The shark ate my surfboard and thought he ate me so it swam back. I swam back to the beach and when I reached the beach, I had to leave. The next Saturday we went to the beach again and this time I bring a sword with me and Harsha with me. Me and Harsha both went surfing and the meg was chasing us. It went so fast that it was a centimeter behind me.

I  jumped backwards over the megalodon and it was next to Harsha and I was behind it. Then Harsha stabbed the megalodon with the sword and the megalodon died. Me and Harsha were on TV and the newspaper. It even said that we killed the only megalodon in the world. I did not know that there was only one meg and we killed it.
